Know these Abortion Facts to be well informed.

Dear sisters and brothers in Christ, I invite you to read some abortion facts that  you should know about.

The consequences of abortion are physical, emotional and spiritual.

According to dr. L.A. Brinton, the chief organizer of the 2003  NCI workshop, we can read the following findings:

“ In analyses of all 897 breasts cancer cases the multi variated-adjusted odds ratios for examined risk factors were consistent with the effects observed in previous studies on younger women(Table1). Specifically, older age, family history of breast cancer, earlier menarche age, induced abortion, and oral contraceptive use were associated with an increased risk for breast cancer".

Abortion Facts regarding physical consequences:

  • There is an increase in the risk of a future miscarriage if you have terminated your first pregnancy.
  • The risk of getting breast cancer increases by 50% in women who have had an abortion.

Don't you think women have the right to know everything about the dangers abortion might bring to their health, in some cases even their life?

The emotional consequences are far reaching:

The facts tell us that 1.5 million abortions are being performed per year, in the U.S. alone. How many of these women still camp with negative emotional feelings years after having an abortion!

No wonder this is so, because it's a natural thing for a woman to become pregnant and have children.

When God designed the body of the woman, He had all this in mind.

We all know that if mankind alters nature in any aspect, that action will cause some kind of imbalance. This is also the case when the statehood of being pregnant is altered.

Despair, grief, depression, suicidal thoughts, guilt, all these negative feelings continue to chase people even years after having an abortion. Many of us have heard one or more heartbreaking stories about this sad matter.

The spiritual consequences of abortion:

According to God's Word, the consequences of a grave sin is spiritual death. This means that by sinning, we get separated from God, who created us.

Remember Adam and Eve? After having disobeyed God, they felt the need to hide from Him. They were ashamed of their nudeness. They felt guilt.

This same feeling of guilt and distress can overwhelm a woman after an abortion.

But the God that I know and love is a Merciful God, His Mercy is infinite!

In Saint Faustina Kowalska’s diary, Divine Mercy in My Soul, we can read the following that Christ spoke to her:

“Let the greatest sinners place their trust in My mercy. They have the right before others to trust in the abyss of My mercy. My daughter, write about My Mercy towards tormented souls. Souls that make an appeal to My Mercy delight Me. To such souls I grant even more graces than asked. I cannot punish even the greatest sinner if he makes an appeal to My compassion, but on the contrary, I justify him in My unfathomable and inscrutable mercy.”

Only our loving and forgiving God can speak these words to us, no matter what great sinners we might be!

These are just a few Abortion Facts mentioned and I know they are sad enough.
